Our custom martingale dog collar is designed for a more secure fit for dogs who can slip or back out of a traditional flat collar. The limited-slip martingale design gently tightens when your dog pulls or backs up, then relaxes again when the leash goes slack.

Designed for real life—where dogs pause, pull, back up, get excited, or move unpredictably on walks—each collar is made to order in your choice of color combination using durable webbing and solid brass hardware for long-term wear.

Choose a traditional slip-on martingale or add an optional side-release buckle for easier on-and-off use. Quick-release buckles are available in solid brass or durable nylon.

Martingale collars can be especially useful for escape-prone dogs, dogs with narrow heads, and dogs who need added security on walks. Properly fitted, the collar provides added security without remaining continuously tight around the dog's neck.

XXS (3/4" wide): neck size 9"-11.5"

XS (3/4" wide): neck size 12"-15"

small (1" wide): neck size 12"–15"

medium (1" wide): neck size 14"–18"

large (1" wide): neck size 17"–23"

Martingale collars are commonly recommended by trainers, rescues, and shelters because they provide added security without harsh corrections. When fitted properly, the collar tightens only enough to help prevent slipping, then immediately relaxes when pressure is released.

Martingale collars are especially well-suited for:

  • Dogs who can slip out of traditional flat collars
  • Dogs with narrower heads or thicker necks
  • Training and everyday walking where added security is helpful

We offer 2 buckle options: black plastic and polished brass. Both make on/off easy for you and your dog! Our matte black plastic buckle is made of high quallity, yet lightweight nylon. This keeps noise and collar weight to a minimum while offering curved edges for your dog's comfort. Our polished brass buckle is a showstopper! It adds high shine and style to your dog's look and is built to last. It's a wonderful option for most medium and large, as well as many small size dogs. The tradeoff to this stunning look is that it is a heavier option and so, may not be suitable for pups with small necks/heads or any aches, pains or medical issues that might make the extra weight uncomfortable.
